Ten Good Reasons For Becoming A Christian

  1. You won’t have to go to Hell. (John 3:16)


  2. Your sins will be forgiven. (Acts 2:38; 22:16)

  3. You will have a clear conscience. (Makes a nice pillow.)
     “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.” (Hebrews 10:22)

  4. God will truly be with you – you will NEVER be alone.
    “And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.” (Acts 5:32)
     You get His Spirit – The HOLY Spirit!

  5. You will be accepted.
    “To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.” (Ephesians 1:6)

  6. You will have a new citizenship –
    “For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:” (Philippians 3:20)

  7. You will have an inheritance that will never rot or get stolen.
    “To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” (I Peter 1:4, 5)

  8. You will gain me as a brother. (See Mark 10:28-30).


  9. I will gain you as a brother or sister in Christ!


  10. You will have everything.
    “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:” (Ephesians 1:3) “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” (2 Peter 1:3)

Many more reasons could be given to show why it is right for you to become a Christian, but can you give just one good reason for not obeying the gospel?
