The
Bible says in
Romans 12:9,
“Abhor that
which is evil;
cleave to that which is good.”
Man’s nature
is to get used
to evil, and the more association we have with it, the less evil
it appears in our minds. The more common sin becomes, the
more acceptable, and even respectable it seems to us. But do
not be deceived: Sin does not become right by getting used to
it, just as ugly does not become pretty just because we have
been around it for a while. Let the Word of God define what
is good and evil, not how many people practice something.
