The Topeka annual Young Peoples meeting, held September 30th and October 1st was well attended. William Rogers, Jerry Reese, Richard Riggins, Clifford Deister, David Selby, and Charles Gilmer were the main speakers. The theme of the meeting was Christ in our lives. Attendance exceeded that of last year, and it was an occasion of wonderful spirituality and good fellowship. ~ Jerry Reese continued a meeting there the following two weeks. ~ Thomas Dennis was at Kirksville from September 25th to October 6th. He begins at Stull, Kansas October 22nd to continue till November 3rd. ~ Winford Lee begins a two weeks effort with the 25th and Oakley congregation, Kansas City October 22nd. ~ Wilford Landes labored with the Lawrence, Kas. church from October 1st to the 7th and then spent the following week at Ottawa, Kas, He is scheduled at 59th and University, Des Moines, Iowa from October 15th to the 27th. ~ Jerry Reese worked two weeks with the Antioch congregation (Missouri) with 5 baptisms. He will be at Pana, Ill. for an all-day meeting October 22nd. ~ Wm. Hensley was at Sullivan, Ill. the first week in October, and at Neal, Ill. Oct. 8-13th. and at Gardner, Kas. Oct. 29th to Nov. 10th. ~ Roy Loney is scheduled at Brookport, Ill. from Oct. 15th to 18th. Then at Charleston, Ill. the 22nd and at Waynesville, Ill. Oct. 23 over the 29th. He will be at Las Animas, Colo. Nov. 19th and begin a weeks effort the 20th at Albuquerque, N. M. ~ C. R. Turner spent the first two weeks in Oct. at Compton, Calif. in a study on Church Government.
