Lloyd Riggins has been working among the churches in the mid-west in recent weeks. He was at Speedway City in September, and will soon be at Gallatin, Mo. ~ Richard Riggins held a two weeks meeting with the Bethlehem congregation, near Polo, Mo. in September. Soon he will be laboring with the Indiana Ave. congregation in Topeka, Kas. ~ The church at 63rd and Blue Ridge, (K. C., Mo.) held their annual all-day meeting September 24 with excellent attendance. ~ Wm. Hensley spent two weeks preaching for the Liberty congregation, near Hardin, Mo. Rainy weather and much sickness hindered the work considerable. ~ Roy Loney spent September 10th at Carrollton, Mo. in two services that were well attended. ~ Wilford Landes spent the week of September 17th with the Lawrence, Kansas congregation. He will be with the 50th and University Ave. congregation, in Des Moines, Iowa, during October. ~ Tom Dennis, assisted by William Rogers, labored with the Kirksville, Mo. church from September 25th to October 6th. These two brethren will be at Stull, Kas. October 22nd to November 3rd. ~ Winford Lee will be laboring with the 25th and Oakley congregation, in Kansas City, Mo. this month. ~ Kenneth Van Deusen is spending one week this month with the Bethany, Mo. congregation. ~ Roy Loney was with the Lewis, Kansas congregation September 24th. One was baptized recently at Lawrence, Kansas. ~ C. R. Turner gave special lessons to the church at La Verne, California during the entire month of September. From there he goes to Compton for two weeks of teaching on Church Government. The last two weeks in October he will be with the church at Wood River, Illinois.
